Science:  Bill Nye "Chemical Reactions" movie.

Monday

Math:  Block 2 Tests were returned along with the pretests.  See Snapgrades in the upper right of this blog screen to check your grade.  No homework;  we begin Block 3 tomorrow- multiplying and dividing fractions.

Science:  Watched Bill Nye "Phases of Matter" and read section 1 about Solids and Liquids.  Tomorrow, Gases!

Monday

Math:  Homework,  prepare for Block 2 Test.  No written work due tomorrow, but the riddle that you worked on in class can be finished for extra credit.  Click here:  http://www.oregonfocus.com/Login.aspx?ReturnUrl=%2fInside%2fFractions.aspx  to look at the study guide for Block 2 to help you review.  Block 2 Test Tuesday.  Snapgrades is up to date as of 11 am today.

Friday

Math:  We reviewed adding and subtracting mixed numbers and took retook Lesson 10 Quiz.  We will be reviewing for the big Block 2 Final on Monday and taking the test before Thanksgiving Break.  We are moving on to multiplying and dividing fractions next.

No homework unless you have something missing.  Students who forget their homework are being assigned learning lunch in order to finish it.

Science:  Next week, more on solids, liquids and gases.

Thursday

Math Homework:  Small slip of paper with (# 5-12).  See the video posted yesterday for the best technique.  Calculators ok : ).
We will be retaking Lesson 10 Quiz tomorrow after this extra practice.

Science:  Watched a video about properties of matter.
