Circles

Math:  Warm up # 98... we are almost to number 100!  Awesome;  we get to try out "7th grade warm-ups" next.

The class corrected Block 3 review ( in the book) with partners assigned by Mrs. Stolp, then corrected it together in class.  How well  students performed on this review activity is a good indicator of how they will do on the block test next week.

Circles Lesson: Drew and labeled parts of a circle. Circumference is how far a horse gallops around a field "circumference, circumference, circumference..." .  I'd "rather run the radius"!   The d d d diameter was drawn in d d dark blue and is the whole d d distance across the circle.  Center point, chord and pi also defined.  See students circles with formulas in their binders.

Homework:  Lesson 20  selected problems in the book.  If you're not sure do them all.

Fun:  We got in a circle (making Donald the center point) and "threw"a ball across different parts of the circle.
