Math: Minute and then played "Basic Facts Card Game" with groups of 2-4. Surprise fire drill.
Science: Read Current Science article about Plasma TVs and LCD TVs and how they work.
Homework: No math homework if all work has been turned in; 100 point Science Foldable due tomorrow. Some students have already turned theirs in. See pic below of one very complete and neat foldable!

Math: Game Day Prep in teams. Solved 15 problems based on tomorrow's test topics with teams. The winning team gets a treat on Wednesday.
Science: Read aloud some of section 2 popcorn style. We will work on foldables tomorrow after the math test.

Math: Review problems assigned from Block 3 Review in the Math Book. You can access the math book online using the link at the right if you don't have yours at home. I only assigned about 13 problems, so do them carefully. They match what will be tested Wednesday. Tuesday is Game Day Prep during class. Students will rotate and compete in teams to review skills for the test.
Science: Watched a 23 minute video, played with the online link about solids, liquids, gases (see Friday's post) and took a quiz on the 3 states of matter, their properties and characteristics, and the movement of the molecules.

Math: Corrected page 95 problems, did 15 minutes of practice problems on white boards, and took Lesson 19 Quiz. No homework unless you have something missing.
Science: Worked on foldables. The foldable can be used on the Chapter test coming up and will be worth 100 points. They need to have color, vocabulary, definitions, and examples of chapter 4 section 1 and 2 concepts.
